Monsieur Wiener

When we moved to Munich a couple of years ago I had some issues with my Leica I got in Sydney and needed someone to do a check on it. I did some research and very quickly stumbled over Monsieur Wieners camera repair shop. I remember calling and a friendly voice picked up and explained with a french accent that I could drop by anytime during the day. The next day I biked to the city, my camera in tow. I entered the shop which is located on Landwehrstrasse, very close to the central station in Munich. French radio was playing and two more customers where in the shop. One checking out the many many cameras and accessories and the other one chatting to Mr Wiener about cameras while he was sitting by his table having a camera to repair in his hands. It is so hard these days to find a place like this and I was so grateful for him to fix my camera. When I picked it up I was allowed to take a few photos of his shop and there you go….
