Our second stop on our little Italian road trip was Lusiana. We ended up here as I had found this really wonderful place to stay at. We had never really thought of going to this area but the little B&B convinced us to and in hindsight it was the highlight of our trip.

The place is called La Scuola (The School) and based in an old converted primary school, beautifully renovated by its owners, who are the sweetest couple. The whole house, rooms, garden - everything really - is so wonderfully made, with lots of love and detail. We wished we could have stayed longer but are certain to come back also to explore a bit more of the region and its small towns. We had such great food in the local osterias of the surrounding villages, I am still dreaming of one particular pasta which I hope to master and share with you on MostlySaturdays with you
